CUT GOLF

VERY IMPORTANT - All entries must be in by the first week of play. New names submitted after the first week will not be eligible. If you change your name on yahoo continue submitting using the same one here.

Each week, you will email or submit via the website one golfer who will be playing in the tournament.  You goal is to pick a golfer who will make the cut and play into the weekend.  If your selection makes the cut, then so do you.  You’ll move onto the next round and make a selection the next tournament.  Sound simple?  It is, at least early on in the season.  You are only allowed to select a golfer once.  Once you use David Duval, you can’t use him again.  Use Phil Mickelson?  He’s unavailable.  Vijay is your choice?  Only once!

The rules:

• Your selection can be made (and changed) up until your selected golfer tees off.
• If you fail to make a selection in any week, you are eliminated.
• If you make a duplicate selection, you are eliminated.  We will attempt to notify you.
• Any golfer is eligible, the eligible list is not restricted to the Yahoo list of golfers.
• If your golfer is disqualified or withdraws before the cut day, you are eliminated.  If he DQ's or WD's after the cut, you remain alive.
• The tournament yahoo is using for the week is the same tournament Cut Golf will be using as the eligible tournament.  No taking Hale Irwin in the Senior Tour event!
• Tiebreaker: If more than one player gets cut on the last week of play the winner will be chosen by the following in order:
  • Lowest score of the players chosen at the cut that week.
  • Lowest total score of the player chosen the previous week
  • Lowest total score of the player chosen two weeks back.
  • Three weeks back, etc.
