It's the BESTballers version of the ol' company/country club outing. Teams of four players compete in a weekly Scramble Tournament. Teams will compete using round-by-round points from Yahoo! Fantasy Golf. Weekly points will be accumulated through the season and the team with the most points will be crowned the Four Man Scramble Champions.

Team formation:
There will be 36 teams of four. All BESTballer members are free to form their own foursome prior to the assigned deadline. Each BESTballer member can only be on one team. Teammates are NOT limited to the group you are in (Red, Blue or Black). Teams are in fact encouraged to consist of players from the different groups (use ID guest_bb PW responsible to visit other groups). Players not part of a team by the deadline will be assigned a team by a random drawing. There is one more player than spots available. One random player of those who are not submitted to be on a team will not participate.

Weekly tournament scoring:
After each round of play the total Y! points for the round (active A+B+B+C players) from each teammate are compared, the highest point total per round (not cumulative) will count towards the teams score. At the end of four rounds of play the team with the highest point total is that weeks tournament winner.
Note: Yahoo! bonus points will be included as part of round four scores.

Weekly Tournament Points towards Overall Yearly standings:
Instead of awarding "money" to each team, points will be awarded based on how the team finished. Points will be awarded based on the total number of teams participating. The team finishing first will be awarded points equivalent to the number of teams entered (36 teams = 36 points). Each place below first will be awarded one less point, 2nd gets 35 points, 3rd gets 34 points, etc. The last place team will be awarded 1 point. Five bonus points will be awarded for finishing 1st, three bonus points for 2nd and one bonus point for 3rd place.

Inactive teammates - Each team is responsible to encourage and/or help their teammate maintain participation in Yahoo! Fantasy Golf. Inactive teammates will remain on the team.

How do I play the game?
All you have to do is be a member of one of our BESTballers Yahoo! Fantasy Golf Groups, play Yahoo! Fantasy golf, and let us "greenskeepers" take care of the rest.

When is the game scored?
The leaderboard is updated after each completed round of golf. We do our best to score the game the same evening Yahoo! updates their scores. The Total Points Leaderboard and History are updated the day after a tournament is completed.
