Scoring by: Greenskeepers - James Newby (Dr. Beeper)

The Fox is the top weekly scorer from the previous week. The Hounds are the next four top scorers. The Fox tries to out score (out run) the Hounds while the Hounds try to out score (catch) the Fox. The Fox gets +1 points for each Hound s/he out scores and -1 points for each Hound that s/he does not. Each Hound will get +2 points for outscoring the Fox and 0 points if s/he does not. Zero points for ties.

Example:
Fox = 185 points
Hound 1 = 105 pts
Hound 2 = 155 pts
Hound 3 = 205 pts
Hound 4 = 105 pts

Fox gets 2 points: +1 each for beating Hounds 1, 2 & 4 and -1 for losing to Hound 4: (3-1 = 2)
Hounds 1, 2 & 4 get 0 points for not beating the fox
Hound 3 gets 2 points for beating the fox

Each of the three groups will have their own weekly fox hunt and their own year-to-date standings. The hunting begins week 2 and concludes week 40. The person with the most points is crowned "Lord of the Hunt".

Tiebreaker for qualifying:

• 4th round active Yahoo! Points plus all bonus points.
• 3rd round active Yahoo! Points
• 2nd round active Yahoo! Points
• 1st round active Yahoo! Points
• 4th round inactive Yahoo points
• 3rd round inactive etc....

How do I play the game?
All you have to do is be a member of one of our BESTballers Yahoo! Fantasy Golf Groups, play Yahoo! Fantasy golf and let us "greenskeepers" take care of the rest.

When is the game scored?
The leaderboard is updated after each completed round of golf. We do our best to score the game the same evening Yahoo! updates their scores. The Total Points Leaderboard is updated the day after a tournament is completed.
