GO John—GONE JOHN
John Daly is one of my favorite players on the tour. He is exciting, he irreverent, he can play, but there is no one better at screwing up when things are going good and then disappearing.

So here is the game:

If John is playing and makes the cut determine on what hole in the third round he disappears. Points are awarded as follows:

If you say hole 1 you get 18 x 18=324
hole 2 you get 17 x 18=306
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
hole 9 you get 9 x 18=162
The progression follows so if at 18 you only get 18.

HOWEVER if he doesn't lose it and goes the whole way (3rd round) you get penalized. If you chose him to go bad on holes 1-6 you lose 150, holes 6-12 you lose 100 and if on 12-18 you lose 50.
Losing is it double bogey or higher. Bogey is not good enough.

Selection of the hole on which he will implode will be made on the Bestball website by 11pm the night before round 3.

The offical scoring starts in late March and wil end with the PGA Tournament. Stay tune for the offical start date. Practice tourneys will be scored up until the official start.
