CUT GOLF II

Cut Golf is available for any member of the three BestBallers groups.  Each week, you will email me one golfer who will be playing in the tournament.  You goal is to pick a golfer who will make the cut and play into the weekend.  If your selection makes the cut, then so do you.  You’ll move onto the next round and make a selection the next tournament.  Sound simple?  It is, at least early on in the season.  You are allowed to select a golfer only once.  Once you use David Duval, you can’t use him again.  Use Phil Mickelson?  He’s unavailable.  Vijay is your choice?  Only once!

 

The rules:

 

1)      Your selection can be made (and changed) until 7:00 am central on the first day of the tournament.

 

2)      If you fail to make a selection in any week, you are eliminated.

 

3)      If you make a duplicate selection, you are eliminated.  I will attempt to notify you of your mistake if I can, but I can only do that if you don’t wait until the last minute (or few hours) to make your selection).

 

4)      Any golfer is eligible, the eligible list is not restricted to the golfers yahoo has in the 3 groups (A, B, C).

 

5)      If your golfer makes the cut and gets disqualified because of actions before cut day, you are eliminated.  If he is DQ’d as a result of actions during the weekend, you remain alive.

 

6)      The same goes for withdrawals as disqualifications.  If he withdraws after making the cut, you are still alive.  Not your fault your golfer is a quitter!

 

7)      The tournament yahoo is using for the week is the same tournament Cut Golf will be using as the eligible tournament.  No taking Hale Irwin in the Senior Tour event!

 

8)      All entries for the first week must be in by May 23rd at 7 am.  Submit  those picks early, you don’t want to miss The Cut!

 

You may also email your selections to pogues@avenew.com .  I will need your team name, your group, and your selection for the week.  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, if you could, put Cut Golf in the subject line.  It will make my life so much easier.
